Work independently and in small, project-focused teams, providing strategic planning and turnkey creative concepting, art direction, copywriting and production services in print, Web and broadcast media. Have a history of building long-term relationships with clients and working with them on a contract basis. Clients include American Express, The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Coker Group, PrEP Biopharm, NPI Financial, American Business Solutions,Dermatology Associates of Atlanta, U.S. Xpress and XINNIX.


1993-1997
Creative Director—Carter Advertising, Atlanta
Served as art director and copywriter with total print and broadcast production responsibility. Supervised all production suppliers, including photography, illustration and Mac pre-press. Hands-on graphic design, illustration and photography. Print advertising, collateral and radio. Clients included a number of national motor carriers, the Fran Tarkenton Small Business Network and Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates.

1991-1993
Freelance Services, Atlanta
Worked independently, providing graphic design, art direction, copywriting and production services in advertising, collateral, direct mail and outdoor media. Managed freelance creative talent that included illustrators and studio photographers. Clients included Cheng Shin Tire, Northside Realty and Habersham Gardens.

1989-1990
Account Executive/Copywriter—Webb-Traeger Advertising, Atlanta
Account management and copywriting on print advertising, collateral and direct mail projects. Clients included Saft/Alcatel-Lucent and Northside Hospital.

1986-1988
Account Executive—Cargill, Wilson & Acree/TracyLocke, Atlanta
Served as primary liaison between the agency and several key clients. Responsibilities included strategic planning for all communications activity, supervision of project development, technical writing and daily client contact. All media. Clients included Siemens Energy & Automation, Mighty Distributing, Georgia Power and Chateau Elan Winery.
